Hello, I'm Shawnda

Born and raised in Dayton, OH but my husband Almond and I have called Phoenix, AZ our home for the last few years (you don't get use to the heat). 

From a very young  age I’ve had a natural ability, instinct and eye for making things look pretty. Raised by a single mother, we didn’t have much growing up so I learned to use whatever I found around the house and had to be very creative to create a space that looked exactly how I wanted.   

I started Aligned Spaces by Shaw (ASBS)  because I believe my purpose is to share my knowledge and to help make people lives a little easier, a little simpler, and just a little better.

My background includes a Bachelors degree in Organizational Leadership from Wright State University and a MBA with a concentration in Marketing from Walden University.  I've spent many years as a Learning & Development professional specializing in Instructional Design. 

The world is filled with chaos and stress, most of which is out of our control but one thing we can can control is the way our homes look and feel.   My goal is to help others become more aligned within themselves and  within their homes.
